I recently spoke to a man that recognized his need for healing damaged emotions. That's some pretty brave talk for anyone, let alone a man.
The slower pace of Covid has calmed the anxiety for those that kept a hectic pace. For others, Covid has brought issues of the heart to the surface. Both are good things! Both are God's way of providing for his children. He cares as much for our emotional state, if not more.
This year has been difficult for all of us. We all have experienced a certain level of loss, uncertainty, and pain. In all of it, it is possible to experience Covid growth. How do I know this? Because God never wastes anything. Covid isn't a waste of time in God's economy. Covid is God's way of recapturing our hearts. Our emotional hearts more specifically.
What does Covid growth look like? It looks like thriving! It looks like your begins to soul prosper. It looks like emotional and spiritual security that produces deep rest!
Isaiah 42:9 Behold, the former things have happened, and now I declare new things. Before they spring forth I proclaim them to you." See, the former things have taken place, and new things I declare; before they spring into being I announce them to you."
