Anxiety and Connection

Welcome to 2022. It's a new year with New Trials and Persisting Uncertainties. It can make the strongest believer anxious. Anxiety shows up in several places. Ways that make it difficult to ignore.

  • It shows up in our thoughts

  • It shows up in our bodies

  • It shows up in our relationships.

  • It shows up at work

  • It shows up at church too.

Whether you live with anxiety or it's an occasional occurrence, God is with you.

Whether you choose medication, a holistic approach or simply to pray, God is with you. No shame no shade.

The problem is that anxiety will make you feel ashamed and shame will make you pretend, withdraw, or hide. Have you ever noticed that when you feel anxious, you also deep down question, feel, and subconsciously believe you're not good enough? That's why we pretend, withdraw and hide. Which makes us feel alone and disconnected, but God......

God never leaves us and He remains close when we're brokenhearted.

Yes, anxiety is a form of heart sickness.

We can stand on these promises from scripture but we also need the experience of His nearness. That's why anxiety is an opportunity for connection! I know it's counter-intuitive to the way typically react. It can be difficult when your mind is swirling with worries or fears both real and imagined. So, how can you connect in a real and meaningful way rather than whatever it is you've been doing that probably isn't working?

We can meet to unpack your concerns and I can actually help you connect to God in some very real and tangible ways. Then afterward, you can purchase Cut Cards © to unpack and connect with God privately.

Please don't struggle unnecessarily. If you need to know more before you decide to commit or you're ready to care for yourself, reach out to me at pinneyl@pittsburghtransformationcenter.com
